H. Pleasant, Jr., MD, FACOG - Medical Director
Dr. Pleasant is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist, who also practices General Medicine. He earned his MD degree from East Carolina University, and completed his residency at Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Pleasant has a long history in the triangle area performing cosmetic services to
a multitude of patients. He has a true talent for the aesthetics, however, his true passion is to rid patients of ACNE! For several years he has been gathering the best knowledge, skills and technology to help patients who have been affiliated with this aliment.
Dr. Pleasant created Wake Health Medical Group in 2010 to facilitate the needs of Raleigh
residents in basic dermatologic care and cosmetic services. Along with his highly trained mid-level providers, he is ready to service you.

 Martha
- Physician Assistant, PA-C
Martha is originally from Ohio and attended Marietta College to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to physician assistant school, Martha worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice. It was there that she first gained valuable experience with patients and began to love the field of dermatology. Martha enjoys treating a variety of patients for medical conditions, as well as, cosmetic procedures.
Martha is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Outside of being a PA, she enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring North Carolina.

 Robin
- Nurse Practitioner, CRPN
Robin grew up in Kentucky. She graduated with a BSN from Morehead State University, and earned her MSN from the University of Kentucky. Robin has practiced as a CFNP for past 12 years in various fields of medicine - family practice, women's health, adolescent medicine, and
pediatrics. She loves to assist patients with achieving weight loss and wellness goals. Robin has three daughters and enjoys travel and running; she participates in several half marathons every year.

 Emily
- Medical Aesthetician
Emily has been a licensed Medical Aesthetician for 7 years. She received her training from the Aveda Institute in Chapel
Hill, North Carolina and graduated in 2005. Upon graduating she specialized in everything the beauty industry had to offer. Personally suffering from acne herself, she has an intense passion for helping people overcome their issues with acne. She has always had a love for skin care and helping people deal with embarrassing problematic issues. Emily has dedicated herself to learning and practicing many different treatments to help these kind of problems.
With her ongoing education and advanced training from New York to Los Angeles, she works successfully with acne skin, skin of color, sun damage,
Rosacea, aging signs, and dull devitalized skin. Emily also holds a North Carolina CNA license and is certified in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, nutrition and detoxification for the skin. She is also working towards finishing her nursing studies in the future. Emily's main focus is on educating her clients on the cause and effect of everyday skin care issues. Emily's relaxing attitude comes through in all of her services. Her main goal is to make the client feel comfortable and relaxed and to help each client achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful skin that begins from the inside out! She looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your skincare goals!
